In this research work we explore data visualization using DamXR, a framework for proxsituated dam visualization. This framework can facilitate the implementation dam safety control analysis applications. The framework was designed to abstract the following aspects:
- Reservoir water occlusion
- Sensor network representation
- User interface adaptive menus
- Gesture activated wrist UI menu
- Floating panels for data representation
- Runtime model importing
- Handling user interaction and locomotion across AR, VR and PC
- Transitioning between AR and VR seamlessly, in the same user session
- Device detection
